Energy cost depends on the power drawn, the running time and the electricity tariff. The tool computes consumption in kWh and the resulting cost.
Formula
E[kWh] = P[kW] · t[h] cost = E[kWh] · price[€/kWh]
Example
A 2 kW heater for 3 h → 6 kWh → at 0.30 €/kWh = 1.80 €.
Notes
- Convert watts to kilowatts first (1000 W = 1 kW).
- For motors use the actual electrical input power, not the mechanical nameplate rating.
